About Us

Boss Babes NG, was birthed in 2018 as an all-female network where women, through formal and informal communication get equipped to run successful businesses and careers. Her founder, Chioma Onoshakpor believes that everyone has something unique about them, which she calls their personal power. That, if nurtured properly, can turn into a brand. 'You just need to discover it, which is why we are here to help you discover it and lead you on the path to success

We run a membership-based model to support this vision. We are constantly on the look-out for more ambitious hardworking women. If this sounds like you, kindly get in touch.

How it started

In 2018, we started off building the network through intensive one day trainings on how to successfully run an SME.

These training sessions helped in Abuja and Port Harcourt Nigeria.

In 2019, we started hosting fireside chats where we use the role modelling strategy to inspire women. Research shows that women learn and benefit from role models, so we invited a few. We hosted the popular self-made millionaire- Linda Ikeji where she shared her journey into financial independence with our members.

I’m super excited about this year's theme: embrace equity. Simply means recognise that each person has different circumstances; therefore, the exact resources and opportunities should be allocated for each individual.

Wow! This means global economies should work towards a more inclusive society. This is the time for women to take advantage of this awareness and begin to reach for the top, reach for global opportunities. Think bigger and go beyond their comfort zones. The world is ready for you.
