EmpowerHer 2025: Driving Impact Through Purposeful Support for Women Entrepreneurs

At BossBabes Nigeria, we believe in the transformative power of women when they are resourced, recognized, and rallied around. With the EmpowerHer Project 2025, we took a bold step to amplify the voices and ventures of women entrepreneurs in Nigeria, creating a platform that merged visibility with tangible economic support.
Launched as a digital campaign calling for female entrepreneurs to share their business stories, EmpowerHer 2025 received an overwhelming response—142 valid entries, 50 finalists, and ultimately 15 outstanding women awarded a ₦250,000 grant each to grow their businesses. The project culminated in a vibrant award ceremony in Lagos, bringing together change-makers from the private sector, financial literacy educators, innovation leaders, and a thriving community of women ready to take the future into their own hands.

It also presents insights for continuing our mission of building sustainable, inclusive, and thriving ecosystems for women in business.
As the Lagos Chapter Head of BossBabes Nigeria and Project Lead for EmpowerHer 2025, I remain deeply committed to creating platforms that not only invest in women’s economic potential but also protect their wellbeing and dignity as entrepreneurs.
